4th Anniversary
Happy 4th Anniversary!!
Was rushing a composite picture of us the night before, so that I can surprise HIM early next morning when HE reaches HIS office to check his email. I guess I succeeded!!!July 15 2008 - A busy working day for both of us such that no clear plans were made for the night. There was no forecast if the date at night was feasible. The day was spent in anticipation of HIS smses to update me of the latest status. Hopefully, history will not repeat itself, else, I have to spend our anniversary alone again. And, thankfully, it did not. HE managed to throw HIS work aside to meet me. *muacks*It was just a simple dinner at NYDC suntec - baked pasta and mudpie. Finally passed HIM the present I got for HIM there too. A projectshop waist pouch!! It wasn't easy choosing a gift for HIM. Especially to buy a waist pouch which HE will be using very often (HE tends to get a bit more picky). Both practicality and aesthetic aspect have to be taken into consideration. A certain level of uniqueness have to be achieved so as to prevent HIM to be mistaken as kopitiam uncle (coffeeshop uncle that serves drink)!Actually, I have already taken HIM to see the pouch before. HE loves it but find it too expensive for a pouch. Hence I know, buying this pouch for HIM wouldn't go wrong!Just to buy this projectshop waist pouch, I have visited numerous places: From ProjectShop RafflesCity (close down 1 yr ago already and I still don't know) to Paragon, then to Wisma Atria. (Reason: To get it in plastic buckle instead of the metal buckle available at Paragon) I can be determined when I want to. Haha. Luckily my efforts are not wasted. I finally get the model I wanted and most importantly, HE likes it! YEAH!!!The day just flew passed like this. 4th Anniversary - Prelude
Coming Tuesday is our 4th anniversary. 4 years is neither long nor short. Long enough to be closely knitted into each other's life but relatively short as compared to the decades to come by...Our 4th anniversary marked a different phase of relationship and life we are in now. We are both working adults now. No longer have the luxury of a carefree student life, where plenty of time can be allocated to each other. With the additional work commitments, much effort has to be made, to allocate ample quality time for each other.We have our arguments as we have different expectations in our life. But most importantly, deep inside, we both know that these are just part and parcel of our life. "A relationship is like a still lake, occasionally there might be ripples formed from the falling leaves but in the end, it will all be smoothen out"
Someone also once told me that a couple should brave storms together when problem arises, instead of going separate ways for shelter. Only in this way, the relationship can withstand any obstacles coming in the way.I am grateful that I've met HIM. To accommodate, to care and to love me in his own unique way. From HIM, I've learnt and grown. For HIM, I'll strive and do better...

95% to accomplishment!
Our photoalbum is 95% to accomplishment!!!Brought it to show some of my friends and colleagues yesterday. Was really glad that they loved our book and inspired some to do so for their own. Well, at least we know that our effort was not wasted. The late nights, the huge amount of effort trying to complete this project of ours..Credits go to HIM for making most of the photoalbum, esp the more complicated parts... For me, I did help out a bit as well - I accompanied HIM haha.. (Just kidding, I did several pages ok?) Warm fuzzy feeling everytime I flip my photoalbum, considering to do so for my trips to come.. So busy with our photo album making that we can hardly find time to maintain our blog. So sorry for the lack of posts recently. Furthermore, HE has started working (YIPPIE! So happy for HIM), so I guess, we wouldn't be able to post as regularly as before. However, I still can't bear to give up this blog of ours... so I will try as much to post as and when I'm free! Thank you for those who pop by and ask me for more posts. Appreciated it. That is why despite this late hour, I'm still writing something up here to thank you guys out there...Labels: livin, post, together
