"BEAR"y Cute... My Headache
Ever wondered how hard it is to try and find gifts which are SCARCE in Singapore? For me, I must say I am somewhat lucky to be able to find 11 Pooky bears to date. Usually the bears are bundled with the more famous cat, Garfield and it is hard for it to exist by itself. Any fans of Garfield will know that the bear hardly even exist in the comics, except for the part talking about Garfield's reliance on Pooky. In the 2 movies to date, you will be lucky if you catch glimpses of Pooky lying around.Yet, there is just this fascination of Pooky bears about HER that I can't really understand at times. But I must admit that these bears are really cute. Couldn't understand why there are no dedicated shops in Singapore selling Garfield merchandises, while other stuff toys retail outlets tend to have very limited choices on the cat itself, much less to say its stuff toy. (not even worthy of being a side kick). This really tempted me into thinking about starting a "Pooky" merchandise chain in Singapore. However, I am not sure where, who or how I can get the license to franchise it. If there is anyone reading this blog who knows how or has suggestions for it, or you possess a Pooky and wants to pity me by selling it to me,PLEASE APPROACH ME!!!
Somehow I have a feeling that this bear can be the next phenomenon. haha... Of cos, it will also make my life easier in finding a Pooky for HER every year, for HER birthday.
