For all unmarried couples or singles out there... I know I know... I have the same problem. Who doesn't?
They asked: "So... got girlfriend already?"
I replied: "Er... yah... finally got le..."
"Then why never bring back let us see?"
"She needs to go visit her relatives too mah..."
"Then then when you two getting married huh?"
"Er... not so fast la... I still schooling leh..."
"Orh ok lar... got time must bring back let us see leh. Fast fast get married. Your parents want to be Ah Gong Ah Ma leh."
"Orh... got chance to see de lar. (Later I bring back then change girlfriend how?) Marry liao will invite you lar... (That should stop the conversation... hopefully...)"
"Ok ok...wah... you really grow up already ah."
"Haha... (I grow up long ago lar. Grow so big liao cannot see meh? Haiz...)"
Yar... multiply that by a few more / lot of times. I think will summarize most people's new year gatherings right? Lucky I intro HER long ago. Oh... did I say I have the same problem? That is last time lar... Now I bring HER there, SHE can answer all the questions. Great to have a girlfriend isn't it?
