BEAR-y Big!!!
Got this HUMONGOUS pooky bear from HIM. Apparently this is a bean bag customised just for me in the shape of my favourite pooky bear (This explains why it is sooooo big). Quite silly of me not to think of it even though there are clues to this gift:1) I caught HIM smuggling my small pooky (the one sitting on the big pooky foot in the picture above) out of my house. HE just plainly tell me he wants to test my alertness if I do sense the numbers of my pooky bear decreasing day by day and I accept it. True enough, after that very day, I started counting my bears everyday, but still not noticing that this bear is missing (>.<)2) HE told me he will borrow a car for work purpose but is just to ferry this darling gift to me.3) I was at the vicinity where he made this bear, we were supposed to meet there for dinner that day. But I was late, hence didn't catch him in action but simply just sat down for a dinner.4) HE refused put his belongings in the car boot (hiding ground of big pooky) when i told HIM to.Really appreciate him doing so much amidst his busy work schedule. Also, 5 years plus into our relationship and HE is still soooo doting and always keeping me entertained and surprised. I'm so blessed. I later on realised that I was so close to being proposed on this very day. Just that HE did not have time to prepare the whole "package" and HE really want it to be perfect and memorable for me, so HE just forgo it and do it next time, so gave me this big pooky as my vday gift. It was just an ordinary day, when he suggested to bring me out to walk walk since he got a car. So HE took me back to our very special place... that very special seat, we both chatted for so long - talk about us, talk about the journey we took to get together. We also talk about future and what would make me marry him. HIM: "... so what you want then you would marry me huh?"HER:" ( sniggling) erm, you try making me happy lor, if I am in a good mood I will consider..."HIM:"really huh... so then what would make you happy?"HER:"...(can't really think at 2am in the morning).. you, zzang zzang and pooky lor.. (3 of my loves)HIM:" you say one huh... really huh...I actually got a gift for you leh"Its so out of the blue, no special occasion except that vday coming soon. Wasn't expecting a gift on that day. I really felt my heart pounding fast and dunno what to do.. omg what should I do... HE then led me to his car, and asked me to sit at the back (passenger seats). Its like de jevu, leading me to go through one of my birthday's surprise all over again. After that HE got me unwrapping the big big pressie and to find out that its my favourite pooky bear in XXXXXXL size. It's sooo big, carrying it made me feel small again, like a little kid carrying a big doll. haha. The bear is already so hard to find, not to say such a big one.. Remember how I got my first bear from HIM too, when I thought it will be impossible to find one...Then I saw HIS expression, sooo hesitant, I know HE's contemplating if HE should just propose to me at that point in time.But later on HE told me that, its not perfect enough, can't even pass his own benchmark and also we are not so nicely attired, hence he never do so. I can see his disappointed look in how it turns out. My heart really goes out to HIM. Feel so loved by HIM. At that point in time, I really really tell myself, even if HE did not do anything... An Early MERRY X'MAS to Everyone!!
X'mas is here! Merry X'mas to all you guys out there. Hope all of you have been doing great. My past few months have been quite exciting maybe that's why I kinda neglected my poor blog. Now I'm tring to revive it. Get my chatbox and photobucket working again!Just a short recap of what I have been up to over the past few months:1) Had an exciting birthday where i get to dine on board a cruise and view fireworks (see pic above)2) Found a job, adapting well and happy still..3) Happily learning piano like a little kidFor HIM, HE's still his usual self, busy at work but always have time for me. Hee. Looking at for hdb direct sales flats. Hopefully we get a nice and small queue number for us to get our future house :)Something to ponder: Someone told me that timing plays a very very important role in finding a life partner. Case1: Meeting at a marriageable age -> pator 1-2 years, cannot afford to breakup --> marriage?!Case2: Meeting at a marriageable age -> guy/gal is a good life long partner material, but have existing conflicts and no significant passion in the r/s --> marriage?!Case3 Meeting at a young age -> trivial matters causing them to break up after holding on for so long --> met a new partner and within short period--> marriage?!Above 3 cases are fictitious cases, but some how seem reflective of what i meant by the importance of timing in a r/s. Somehow I feel that the notion of marriage seems to be an obligation nowadays or really just like a goal in life you have to meet...True? Cakes, cakes and more cakes...
Ever heard of gf waiting for 45min in a restaurant all by herself, waiting for her bf to arrive? Well, i'm one of them. HE again got crop up at work (unintentionally), so leaving me sitting there myself, slowly sipping my soup of the day while stretching my neck long seeing if HE has arrived.Luckily the place i went to is very pleasant and cosy with excellent service. So, no pressure on me sitting there waiting for HIM. I brought along Zzang in a gift box that day, thought can give HIM something to laugh at during our dinner, instead of letting HIM think HE can get his gift straight away. So since I'm early, I did all my arrangements, passing the waiter the gift and also asking for a candled vanilla ice cream brownie for HIM.
Like the usual HIM, when the candled brownie arrived, HE wasn't too shock or anything. HE said HE already predicted it. Well, at least HE didn't guess Zzang 
was joining us for dessert. Ha. After
After our meal, we went back to my place, and i surprised him with cakes cakes and more cakes.... well story goes like this, i initially bought an Awfully Chocolate Cake - Rum and Raisin for the fella. But somehow or another, the day before, he celebrated with HIS colleagues and having the same cake same flavour somemore! So I thought, maybe i just let HIM have the awfully chocolate cake to blow and bought RIVE famous 3 cakes for HIM to try. So nice of me hor. Cakes nowadays are sooooo expensive.The next day, we went to Kallang Leisure Park to explore. Initially wanted to go Mr Rosti cafe. But, didn't know it closed down already. But luckily Yoguru is still there. Very nice, just like my mum's home made yoghurt, and the serving is VERY big. I prefer the yoguru bliss - promegranate flavour, a bit more sourish.
We walked over to Kallang indoor stadium just opposite for dinner. Wanted to have Jumbo crabs for dinner. Who knows we bumped into Father's day and the restaurant is fully booked. End up we went brewerks to have some drink and sides. Hehe

The upcoming event!
HIS birthday is coming! Gosh, have been having a big headache trying to think of something to do on HIS birthday. Pressie not yet bought yet too! Ha ha, but its still fun trying to plan for something to make HIM happy. Thought of posting today as just realized that its 1 month away from our 5 yrs anniversary!! WOAH~ hehe. Half a decade so to speak. OMG. Haha. Emailed HIM early this morning to remind him of it and HE was also shocked that its coming 5 yrs. haha. A bit scary to think how you can be with another for so long? Well well.. hope everything goes smoothly this sat. Work Vs Life
Guess things get tough when one's working and one's unemployed. One's so drained off after a whole day of work plus OT-ing and just hoping to have a good rest or sleep, whereas the other is always so energised and hoping for some excitement or activities to do when they get together. A job really determines how you lead your life. The extend it took up your time and the impact on your personal life. I appreciate him for looking me up even after he ended late, but really... do we really get any quality time spent? Or maybe is it now that I am unemployed, less occupied so I start to ponder upon things like that. "I've really nothing better to do now?"or is it that this really is an issue which I only got time to uncover now? mY liTtLe sUrPRise for HIM
Seeing him working so long hours lately and feeling low morale, I decided to do something to cheer HIM on. Suddenly out of no where I thought of doing this e-scrapbook for HIM. First thing, this has to make HIM laugh if not smile, else it defeats its purpose, haha. Next of course, it has to be aesthetically pleasant, at least passable by me =)Hard time looking for a decent photo to put. Wanted to put our couple pic initially, but seems a bit typical and not quirky enough to steal a smile from HIM. Then I recall that HE enjoys laughing at my silly poses (instructed by HIM!). So I skimmed through my thousand and one photos for a stupid yet nice, funny yet not too embarrassing photo to be sent to HIM. Well, I do not want any colleagues of HIS who happen to walk pass when HE open the attachment to see a hideous pic of mine right? HA.Well, after some figuring of how the whole scrapbooking thing works, managed to did it within an hour.
